I grew up desiring one day to work as a Disney artist. As a child I spent most of my free time drawing DC Comics, Warner Brother, Marvel and Disney cartoon characters. You can imagine my disappointment when the Disney animation studio in Orlando closed down in early 2004. Later that year, I was doing some freelance work for a former CU artist, Dan Gracey, who told me about a job opening at a new company (thanks Dan!). I was offered a position as a production assistant (who is that?) for a company named Cecropia (what is that?). Turns out, they hired many of the people from Disney whose work I had been admiring for years.
