Steven Charles Geer, Sequence Director / Layout and Background Dept. Head (Florida)
Steven started his artistic career in 1994 where he attended Columbus College of Art and Design. During his 4 years there he was accepted into an experimental internship in 1997 for Walt Disney Feature Animation. After the internship, he returned to Ohio to finish his last year at C.C.A.D and began working for Character Builders, Inc. (animation studio). There he worked as an assisting animator and layout artist for an Oscar nominated short, "The indescribable Nth" and fractured fairy tales.
In 1999, he decided to move to Orlando, Florida to be closer to his family. He worked as a conceptual artist and illustrator for major theme parks such as (Walt Disney, Universal Studios, Sea World, Six Flags, etc.) In 2000, he was offered a job to work for Walt Disney Feature Animation. He worked on such films as: "Lilo and Stitch," "Brother Bear," Emperor's New Groove," "Lion King (DVD)", "Little Match Girl," and "Pocahontas (DVD)". In his spare time, Steven enjoys sculpting and traditional paintings. He is married to his wife Teresa and has two sons.
